"He had to have slept well," Luana said under her breath, considering how badly she was defeated in chess the night before.
"I slept wonderfully," Guy answered, "As though I was sleeping on a cloud."
"Please, eat," Ewalani said, holding out a plate of eggs to Guy.
"Thank you, kindly," Guy took the plate from her hands, "It's always a pleasure for me to be here with all of you, and a pleasure to have your spectacular cooking, Mrs. Malone." Jef felt like gagging himself.
